… How to Knit a Diane Throw Rectangle

  • Rectangles will measure 8 inches by 55 inches
  • Each row uses a knit stitch
  • Please make sure that the length is measured on a flat surface to ensure its size
  • Use size 8 knitting needles
  • Use 4 ply yarn
  • Cast on 40 stitches
  • Adjust the number of stitches so that 40 stitches = 8 inches

Each throw takes four rectangles.  The sewing group would be delighted to “finish” your rectangles into an afghan — but it is perfectly fine is you would like to finish the afghan yourself.

Just bring your rectangles (or finished afghan) to the Church Office or to the Narthex. Someone from the Sewing Group will pick them up and “see them safely home.”
