Called to serve a tiny struggling Lutheran Congregation in St. Andrew from
1976-1987, during which time it became the 10th fastest growing
congregation in the ELCA and the second fastest growing congregation
in the state of Texas. Our pastors have been married to each other
since 1973 and are the parents of two sons.
Michael is a graduate of Millersville University, Millersville,
Pennsylvania and Harvard Divinity School, Cambridge Massachusetts.
He received his doctorate from Lutheran Theological Seminary at

They enjoy spending their free time with family, watching movies,
reading, gardening, and playing with their dog.
