Federal Bureau of Investigation - Publications

A Parent's Guide to Internet Safety is published by the FBI. This online pamphlet brings to the surface the many signs to look for if you think you child may be subjected to an online predator. Provides guidance in handling a situation in which your think your child may be communicating with a predator. And provides tips to use to minimize the possibility of having your child exposed to a predator.

Safe Kids

Microsoft, in cooperation with the Naperville (Ill.) Police Department's Internet Crimes Unit (NPD) and the Illinois Attorney General's Internet Task Force, created the Safekids Web to help parents and educators teach children the fundamental "rules of the road" for safe exploration on the information highway.
Safe Kids Web has provided two PowerPoint presentations online. Presentation for high speed connections includes audio and is a (10.8MB) Download.
