Music at Holy Trinity

Music is the best balm for a sad heart, for it restores contentment and quickens and refreshes the heart.

Music is a glorious gift of God, very like to theology. I would not part with my little gifts of music for anything in the world. We ought to teach the young this art, for it makes fine and clever people.

The Choirs

Little Angels Choir

The Little Angels Choir is our youngest choir, ranging in age from age 4 to grade one. The Little Angels practice on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:15 and sing in special festival services.

Seraphim Choir

The Seraphim Choir is composed of children from grades two to six. This choir sings for 8:00 worship the fourth Sunday of each month and also sings on special festival services. This choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:15 to 8:00.

Youth Cantors and Musicians

The Youth Cantors and Musicians are young people from grades 7 through 12 who sing and play for 8:00 worship the second Sunday of each month and on other special services. They meet the first Sunday evening of each month at 7:00 and additionally as needed to prepare music for upcoming services.

Chorale

The Chorale is a women's choir which sings at 8:00 worship the first Sunday of each month. The Chorale rehearses from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. the third and fourth Sundays of each month.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir sings at 11:00 services every Sunday and for special services and Vespers throughout the year. Chancel Choir rehearsal is on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m.

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir rings once a month in 8:00 and 11:00 services, and at special services. The Handbell Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 8:15 p.m.

Laetare Bells

The farm team for the Handbell Choir.  The Laetare Bells is a groups 5th grade through adult ringers who are learning the skills needed to participate in  Holy Trinity's Handbell Choir.  This group rehearses on Tuesday evenings beginning at 7:40 PM.
